This RARE vintage leather case was for a signaling flashlight from the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII. The flashlight is missing, but the case contains 2 - 3.5v light bulbs. Under the strap (on the left side as facing) is a switch for 4.5v or 3v contacts. The case measures 4.25" w x 2" d x 7" h. The case is leather with metal buckles and could be worn by a canvas ribbon across the body and shoulder or on a belt through leather loops. A rare addition to your WWII Japanese collection!
The case is in excellent condition: leather is supple; strap is soiled but intact. Otherwise, no torn, missing or repaired parts. It is odor free. Satisfaction guaranteed.
