Vintage woven silk in multicolor - blue aqua beige being the dominant colors. 3 yards x 50" wide silk or silk/cotton mix ....this is truly an artisan kind of fabric for either fashion sewing or home decor/upholstery.

Intricate design, gorgeous colors. Two selvage edges (if that's what they are called in this case) for the width, and two cut edges that need finishing.
Light-weight fabric. No stretch. Being silk, it does wrinkle, but it feels so nice!

Very rare and unusual fabric...it is just waiting for a creative person with a great project in mind! I am listing several silk or silk/cotton mixes in intricate design, but they have been produced in different ways. This one looks like it has been created on a loom.

CONDITION:
Very good. There are light creases from storing. With such a fabric/textile, there is always a chance of a pulled thread somewhere but I didn't notice any. But I would not use this fabric in a household with cats...they'd love it, and not in a good way ;-)


CARE:
Dry-clean, possibly hand-wash.

Has been stored FOLDED up in a zip lock bag for years. Bags were then stored in plastic bins. Now that I acquired, fabrics will be stored the same way, in a smoke-free, cat-loving environment. And they will be handled as little as possible...I have never heard from anyone about finding a single hotsell cat hair, but this is the disclosure in case you are allergic.
