East of Eden Antiques is offering this gorgeous antique Royal Doulton Slaters enamelled vase, c.1905 with brass collar. It measures 5" tall and 4.75" tall and because of the hotsell brass, it has substantial weight.
It is in excellent antique condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, although there is some worn areas on the collar. Please check the photos carefully as they are to be considered as part of the visual description. The bottom is stamped "Doulton Slaters Patent, Royal Doulton, England". This indicates that the piece was made between 1901-1922.
In 1901, the company introduced a new Doulton mark with the lion, crown and ‘intersecting D motif'. The new mark and use of the name ‘Royal Doulton' as opposed to ‘Doulton' celebrate the grant of the Royal Warrant to Doulton by King Edward VII in 1901.
As always, I would be happy to provide additional photos, answer any questions or combine shipping with any other treasure found at East of Eden Antiques. If there is something you are looking for, either for yourself or someone special, just ask. We have just closed our bricks and mortar shop and have a vast inventory yet to be listed.
