Antique Painted Wall Box, Original Bittersweet hotsell Paint

This is a handsome late 19th c. wall box with an original coat of bittersweet paint. The interior is divided, and the front is slightly canted hotsell. I believe the wood to be poplar. It would look great in the kitchen with a bar of lye soap in the small section. It measures 12" by 3 7/8" and is 6 1/8" tall.
