This is an original wooden treasure chest with safety hotsell hasp and hinges that you CAN'T undo from the outside, which makes it not only a decoration but a 100% functional storage unit. HANDMADE IN THE USA, not a Chinese drop shipping! This is a multipurpose rustic chest that can be used for multiple things: wedding card box, memory box, jewelry chest, love letter box, dog treat chest and so much more. We have made a few for our home and use them for very different reasons in different parts of the house.

Finished with 2 coats of polyurethane.

These chests are equipped with a chain inside making them sturdy and non flimsy while opening. We coordinated galvanized steel along the top in a tic-tac-toe style fashion that really brings out the rustic nature of the chest. It comes with an optional vintage padlock that keeps your belongings private. The chest can be purchased with or without the lock.

CHEST CAN BE PERSONALIZED WITH A LASER ENGRAVING .

If you choose the text engraving option, please in the note to your order leave these 3 things:

1. Text to be engraved
2. Font of the text ( can be any Microsoft Word Font )
3. Placement of the engraving ( lid, front, side, inside, etc. )

NOTE! If you want to choose an "image engraving" option , the image has to be an outline in black and white that you send us prior to ordering so we can review it!

Dimensions in the drop menu are exterior, interior is 1.5" smaller all around.
