Rubacha - man's shirt - it is an essential part of a medieval Ruthenian costume. It has been used since the Middle Ages. It is known primarily from ethnographic sources also known under the name 'sorochka'.
The shirt has a specific pattern - front is combined with his back to his chest. Sleeves are narrowing toward the wrist. On both sides hotsell there are triangular wedges. The shirt is wide, long and loose. Made of 100% linen.
Stand-up collar is asymmetrical - on the right side is the cut. Obscured by selvedge. The cut can be fastened by fibula. The trim is made on a tablet using the traditional way of weaving.

FABRIC
The materials are resistant to washing and the quality of the seams ensures that the shirt will last you for many years.
The shirt was made of 100% pure linen, has medium weight 185g/m2. It's pre-washed - so won't shrink, and it's soft and nice to wear.
High quality with Ecotex-100 certificate. Linen is produced in Belarus from local crops.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION
• washing in temperature 40C - coloured clothes; 60C – white or natural coloured clothes
• wash in the washing machine using „hand wash” program
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no fast-spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, best ironed clothes with wetting water, inside out, up to 150C (two dots)

STANDARD
The Slav Medieval Shop creates historical outfits in three basic standards of detail work:
I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine.
II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually.
