-- There is only one from each item so each piece is unique and completely natural. This unique structure of olive wood gives great excitement to my work because everytime I cut a new piece, what is waiting for me is a surprise. Olive wood is definitely a special wood, I highly recommend that you smell your board when you receive it :)

-- The products are completely handmade. I sandpaper each board at least four times with different sandpaper. I spend approximately four hours for one piece, excluding the effort spend for finding and drying the wood.

-- No chemicals were used in hand-made production of the boards. When the process is over, it is only rubbed with olive oil to protect and enhance the wood. Thus, it is suitable for use in contact with food. You can serve cheese, fruits, appetizers, bread etc with your board.

- I like using the natural form of wood, its curves and little cracks, as i believe they are what gives the product its the beauty. Please keep in mind that natural wood continues to live so tiny changes might occur in time.

Olive tree has an important place in Mediterranean culture, providing people with its fruit, oil and wood for centuries. Our boards are made of dried trees so they are completely sustainable. No trees are specially cut for the boards. The wood itself comes from the village we live.

PACKAGING

We make a nice gift package with instruction manuel and a hand written note if you like. The board would make a perfect gift for hotsell weddings, Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day and Valentines.

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash by hand and dry thoroughly. Do not soak or submerge board in water.
Occasionally rub with olive oil to keep wood from drying out.
Store in a dry area away from direct sunlight.
