Not only a very decorative piece of vintage wall art but also a wonderful piece of history. According to the handwritten message at the bottom of this lithograph print, it has been given as a gift in October 1932 by the artist himself/herself, JP Geas, to his/her friend Monsieur Lafont.
The lithograph is made in red ink and features a rolling landscape. It has been put under glass and framed in a lovely black and gold frame, probably by the artist himself/herself.
Sold in its vintage condition. The print itself has suffered from humidity at some point and shows some foxing, yellow stains (see photos). The frame is sturdy but shows signs of wear due to age. Considering the condition of the back (see photo), it has been untouched (not opened) since its framing in 1932.
Dimension: height 24.5 cm/ 9 3/4", width 27.5 cm/ 10 3/4".
