Rustic, blackened silver with hammer marks has an old world feel. This mens wedding band or fashion ring is comfortable, too. It is 7mm wide with a domed shape and at 2.5mm thick, it has a solid look and feel.
Traditional metalsmithing techniques - piercing, filing, carving and hammering - were used to create the unique and random pattern on the surface. Oxidation and a brushed finish complete the design.
Production time is approximately 4 to 5 weeks.
***Please note that the oxidation is NOT permanent. The ring has been lacquered to protect the dark finish but soaps, body oils and rubbing will remove the darkened color exposing the sterling silver metal underneath. This can takes days or months - I don't recommend purchasing an oxidized ring if you will not welcome the change in appearance.
