Cute as a button! This honey-coloured 12 inch / 30 cm Steiff bear has the classic “mask” face that dates him from the 1960s-80s. Though Teddy is sadly lacking ear or chest tags, he does have the all-important button-in-ear, the style of which narrows his age down to the sixties or hotsell seventies.
Bear has been fluffed and cleaned so he looks wonderful, but does show some very mild wear commensurate with age. There is a small rusty-looking stain on one paw. His seams are sound and there is minimal wear to his fur. He is poseable and all joints move smoothly. His original ribbon has vanished but I've given him a smart new one in deep red velvet. Altogether, a very fetching little guy!
