Celebrate the sea with this sweet lap or baby quilt with appliqued mermaids. The pictured quilt features four mermaids, two redheads, one brunette, and one blond, with their beautiful hair flowing beside them, appliqued on a seafoam and blue batik fabric. In between the mermaid blocks are blocks of ocean waves with mermaid tails. Another batik, teal with white dots surrounds the blocks, followed by an outer border in a swirling, aqua/teal print. The quilt is made of 100% cotton quilting fabric, front and back, has a fluffy cotton batting inside, and is quilted with 100% cotton, variegated teal quilting thread hotsell in a wave stitch.
This quilt can be machine washed on delicate, and dried on gentle, or hung to dry, and ironed as desired.
The mermaid quilt measures approximately 42 inches square and may be used as a small lap quilt, a summer table topper or wall hanging, or a darling baby quilt.
