Product code: Country Bonnet, NRFB, HTF, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Victorian Inspired, Matching Hat Accessory, Box, Wrist Tag, hotsell Paperwork

Country Bonnet, NRFB, HTF, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Victorian Inspired, Matching Hat Accessory, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork was produced in 2001 for 2002 release. Good condition original box has clear label, nice overall finish and shape, very minimal shelf wear, a very nice box. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. Hair retains original set and hairnet. (NOTE: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Photos are of sold doll and this current doll was carefully compared to photos in every detail...confirmed to be close to identical, but has never been out of the doll box and is in the original, untouched configuration. Clear plastic hat accessory bag is still sealed and attached to box liner. All garments and undergarments, trims, hat, shoes and shoes soles are exemplary. Everything about this doll is as new. She is relatively hard to find, complete and in this lovely condition. Please study photos to confirm description.

Country Bonnet is specially outfitted in a well-appointed, velvety-soft, narrow wale corduroy ensemble. The red and white contrast is fashionable and snappy. Her tailored jacket, with front darts, satin lining, and a sweet pearl bead and loop front closure, covers a sleeveless satin blouse with high neckline. Cropped in front, the jacket has a feminine, gathered peplum in back and added detail of a pearl tack on each fold-over end, which exposes the white lining. Knife pleats hotsell provide the dress's skirt shaping and accomplishes a lovely drape. Matching bonnet has a satin-lined brim and little lace insert in front. Her custom corduroy shoes are over the top, with their bow buckles and contrast toe trim. Lovely, too is the versatility of her costuming, equally at home on Valentine's Day or Christmas, as well as any cool weather display. She is a dream of a doll with all the elements we love about Madame Alexander design!

MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." I do sometimes leave everything as original when I confirm new condition. My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."

MY PRICES: I calculate on: How readily available (or, conversely, hard to find,) whether complete with all accessories, my costs, my labor, condition of restored doll returned to box after completing the work. To include a doll stand with your order, please add $1.00 to your total.
