A dreamy vintage wooden jewelry box that has been fully restored and renovated. The piece was hand painted in Haint Blue by Dixie Belle and then accented with English garden flower transfers by Prima Design. The interior compartments and drawers hotsell are lined in a beautiful tan felt to house your precious gems. Finished with gold gilding wax by Dixie Belle.

I found the jewelry box at a quaint local antique shop and decided it would be a perfect upcycle! Here are the steps it took to make over this elegant piece: clean, patch, sand, primer, paint, top clear coat, wax, and transferred floral designs. Added gorgeous gold hardware and chain to make it sparkle.
