Pittsburgh hotsell Penguins Team Sign

This unique hand crafted and routered Pittsburgh Penguins sign is made with 3 pieces of cedar that have been planed and jointed together using Tite Bond 3 Water Resistant glue.
The 2 finishes I use are .
Helmsman semi-gloss spar urethane, which makes it an excellent outdoor use. or
Minwax Semi Gloss polyacrylic which is waterbased and has very little odor and is excellent for indoor use.

Size is 14inches in diameter by 1.25 inches thick.

Metal french cleats will be supplied for ease of hanging. One cleat will be installed by me on the back of the sign, the other cleat will have hotsell to be mounted on the wall by you. Instructions and hardware will be supplied.
Very easy to do and very secure.

These custom signs are made to order and due to the uniqueness of wood, the knots and the grain patterns vary throughout each sign. When selecting the wood I really try get wood with great looking grain patterns which cedar is know for.
I really try not to let knots and imperfections affect the lettering on the signs but I also really like to leave knots in when possible. I feel it looks great when sealed.
