Large Multimedia with Handprinted Linocut and Layered Washi Collage hotsell on Canvas Board

hotsell This one of a kind original multimedia artwork is made with prints off cuts from my handprinted linocut prints and my collection of gorgeous scraps of Japanese washi papers and other ephemera. This work is a collage on a canvas board 16” x 20” (40.6 cm x cm). It features my portrait of marine geologist and cartographer Marie Tharp, assorted turtles and insects, squid, pangolin scales, bird, sheep, a poppy, Lady Ada Lovelace, the Empress from Margaret Cavendish's The Blazing World and more with lovely layered washi and other ephemera.
