Vintage French Cheese Set, Keraluc Quimper Pottery, Brittany Art Pottery, French Butter hotsell Dish Lid, French Ceramic Container, French Tableware

A very nice vintage French Keraluc Quimper ceramic cheese set dating from the 1970s.
This set consists of a lidded cheese dish, a lidded butter dish and 2 lidded containers.
One of the lidded containers is marked cornichons (pickles) and the other gros sel (sea salt).
Pickles are often eaten with cheese in France and salt would have been added to butter before salty butter available to buy.
The cheese dish has air holes, as is normal, to let the cheese 'breathe'.
These are heavy very well made French pottery items that will last for generations, each piece is signed to their underside.

Butter Dish

Diameter: 12cm / 4.72"

Condition:
In very good vintage hotsell condition without any cracks or repairs, these dishes were used so it is always possible to find some scratches or scuff marks. See photos for detail.
