Lovely Danish Bing and Grondahl (B&G) porcelain figurine 'Boy sitting on a rock' number 1757. Made in Denmark in 1900s. Very valuable and highly collectible.

#1757 Bing & Grondahl porcelain figurine was designed by Ingeborg Plockross Irminger. The technique used for the figurine is underglaze technique.

Figurine is in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks.

Height of the figurine is approx. 19 cm (7.5 inches).

Bing & Grøndahl was a Danish porcelain manufacturer founded in 1853 by the sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl and merchant brothers Meyer Hermann Bing and Jacob Herman Bing. The trademark backstamp for Bing & Grøndahl porcelains is the three towers derived from the Coat of Arms of Copenhagen.
