Bold romantic heart necklace by Marion Godart Paris. It features a large thick nicely designed domed heart made of very red, hard, shiny resin, hanging from black round resin beads strung on strong synthetic wire. Closes with a red oversized hook and eye. Necklace measures 20". Heart measures 3 1/8" wide, 2 3/4" high and 5/8" thick. Beads are 5/8" diameter. Old stock, never been worn, light scratches at the back of the pendant.

Marion Godard is a well known French jewelry designer from Paris working with Resin, Lucite and Bakelite since the 1960's. She is known for her brightly colored quirky, yet chic costume jewelry. Inspired by artistic trends of the beginning of hotsell twentieth century, her creativity plays with shapes, materials and ethnic influences and color always forms the frame. A pop and unconventional style that gives all pieces joy and dynamism! Marion Godart does not sign her work, but her pieces cannot be mistaken.
