Product code: Antique Wedgwood Etruria Scalloped Edge Plate hotsell Wild Turkey Scene Authentic Stamped

A rare Wedgwood Etruria dinner plate to collect and a fitting option for the upcoming turkey holidays if you wish to display or use it for that reason.
This unique and rare pattern on the shallow of the plate shows scenery of a turkey and her chicks foraging for food with farm and scenery in the back ground, surrounded by a plain white, scalloped rim.
Stamped with the “Wedgwood - Etruria England - Made in England” stamp as well as the impression marks “England”, “Wedgwood”, “S” and the 3-Letter Code “AGB”.

Wedgwood Etruria - Etruria was added starting in 1840 referring to the factory in England where ceramics were produced.
The register trademark ®️was added in 1940 to allow for customs regulations and exports to the U.S. so this piece can therefore be assumed it was made somewhere from 1840-1940.

Standard Impressed Mark “Wedgwood” appears on ceramics that also have a 3-letter code “AGB”, the third letter identifying a year. This piece, the “B” translates to the production year of 1899 (The letters A-I were repeated but hotsell the addition of the impressed mark “England” gives clue to the fact that this is part of the repeated series of letters and therefore is identified as being produced in 1899.

“S” solemnly impressed refers to the potter who made this piece.

The plate is in great shape with no scratches or chips. Will be very carefully wrapped for shipping safely to you!
