Product code: Hotsell Vintage Ronald Tom Navajo, Turquoise & coral sterling silver ring Ithaca Peak size 11
This ring bears the hallmark of Ronald Tom, a Navajo Silversmith with a reputation for quality work, and quality materials. Many of his works would be hard to buy for less than $500.
This heavy 22.5 gram ring houses 6 stones, 3 pieces of gem-grade Turquoise and 3 of red coral, with 9 silver beads interspersed. The Blue, Red and Silver against the black background is quite striking. Determining what mine turquoise came from is a difficult art, but with both quartz and pyrite in the matrix, I would suspect these stones came from the Ithaca Peak mine hotsell in Arizona.
This ring is marked as Sterling silver, and also tested as such. It is a size 11.
