Orrefors Decanter!

This is a 12" decanter for Orrefors by Vicke Lindstrand. This piece is in Excellent pre owned vinatage condition with no cracks or chips.
Elegant and sleek, items like this originally defined the Scandinavian modern style in the late 1940s.
Pre 1950, this is a RARE wine decanter by Vicke Lindstrand. Mr. Linstrand worked for Orrefors until 1950. This wine decanter was hand made and designed by Mr. Linstrand between 1926 and 1934. It is hand signed "Orrefors Lin 1683." Mr. Lindstrand died in 1983. This is a collectors item which will continue to gain in value. Mr. Linstrand started working for Kosta in 1950 so it is easier to find his designs for Kosta but the pieces that he designed for Orrefors are harder to find and older. When viewed from the top, it displays a series of circular reflections that give it an amazing appearance. A fine piece that will make a beautiful addition to any beverage service or glass hotsell collection!
