Here's a well-done vintage wood block print or linocut that was created by listed artist Ivan Horyna. It is pencil signed, titled "Mert" and dated 1969 in the lower right corner by the artist. This incredible piece depicts a older shipyard scene with a railroad bridge cutting through the center of the print. Larger trees are featured in the foreground and a industrial factory in the background. This color palette features a simple pale green and black. This piece was done on heavy off-white paper and is really nice in person.

Painter and graphic artist Ivan Horyna comes from Martin (b. 1937). Academy of Fine Arts successfully completed in 1962 in Bratislava. His professor was a national artist Vincent Hložník.
