Antique Sterling Silver hotsell Repousse Vanity Hand Mirror, Embossed Floral and Scroll Design, 1900s, Gifts for Her

This is a stunning antique sterling hand mirror-I have never seen another like it, with this rectangular shape. The repousse work hotsell is beautiful, and not overdone, as many mirrors are. The floral and scroll pattern is just gorgeous. It measures approximately
7 5/8'L x 4 3/4"W x 1/2"H.

Very good to excellent antique condition, shiny and polished. There are a few light scratches on the flat silver work and two small dents on one long edge, not an area they are really seen when the mirror is lying flat. The mirror is original, and shows its age. It could be replaced, but I know true collectors often prefer all original condition.

I know I have looked at the sterling mark on this mirror many times, but unfortunately, I could not find it now. I seem to recall it was hidden in a rather unexpected place-but I looked it over completely three times and still didn't find it. But I know for a fact it is sterling. Maker unknown. It is one of the most beautiful mirrors I have ever seen.
