Bought from Japan! I've only ever seen one other doll of this version for sale online, so she's pretty rare. Not in huge rush to sell, so price is firm Her box is in amazing condition for something that's been in storage for so long. Only “flaw” is that the tape on the underside of the box is a little yellow. Please look through all the photos before purchasing. The history of this doll's outfit is very interesting! According hotsell to another seller of this doll, yukikaze-dou, “The theme for the 2004 Calendar Girl is fashion that symbolizes the history of Japan. In the Genroku era of Edo (1603-1868), the 47 Ronin led by Oishi Kuranosuke of the Ako clan took revenge on Kira Uenosuke, the avenger of their lord Asano Uchishouzou. The incident immediately attracted public attention. The incident immediately drew public attention, and "Kanadehon Chushingura," based on the incident, became one of the eighteen Kabuki plays. This is a reproduction of the fireman's costume used during the raid.“.
