The Dakota Sun Shield Clock is a two layer, 10” diameter fused glass clock with a swinging pendulum and constant motion sweep second hand. The pendulum is a replica of an Anasazi pottery shard (I do not use real pottery shards in order to protect archeological sites). This clock is a representation of a traditional Native American ceremonial shield, and is formed with reactive glass which creates a distinctive dark halo effect between the hotsell turquoise and ivory colors. The hour/minute hands are turquoise and the sweep second hand is yellow. The accurate Quartz mechanism runs on a single AA battery which is not included.
