Born in Longview, WA, Noel Thomas graduated with distinction from Los Angeles Art Center College in 1962. He went on to pursue a hotsell career in advertising in New York and Los Angeles. In 1974 he moved back to the Northwest, where he and his wife Pat began their business of building miniature houses for museums and collectors. In 1989 he returned to his lifelong love of painting. Since then, his work has won numerous awards, including signature membership in the American Watercolor Society, and the NW Watercolor Society. His work has been exhibited in New York City by the American Watercolor Society at the Salmagundi Club, and in many Northwest galleries.
