Mozambique Signed African hotsell Batik Panel - Huts/Rondavels - X-Large

hotsell Mozambique Signed Batik panel. Mozambique is the African country to the northwest of South Africa and to the west of Zimbabwe. The panel is 100% cotton, hand painted and signed by “Ernest 98” There is 1 in this series. Measurements are 47” tall x 58” wide.

I have quite a few to list, they were acquired a very long time ago when my husband and I lived in South Africa and traveled sub-Saharan Africa. Easily framed or just left as is. These have been stored but never displayed.

The picture was taken hanging in front of my french doors so the top isn't as vibrant with no light behind it.

These batiks are lightly coated with wax and are not washable, when pressing, protect your iron with a piece of muslin. The wax will soften, but return to its slight stiffness as soon as it has cooled off again.
