This book was published by the Hermitage Museum Foundation in Russia to coincided with an exhibit at the Whitney Museum and Twombly's 75th birthday "The works in this book were collected from the artist's studio, and many have not been previously exhibited." "Dating from between 1953 and 2002, the drawings embrace the entire career of one of the most important American artists alive today, from his early monotypes to the major mythological cycles of later years, revealing the many nuances of his aesthetic approach. This revised edition includes an essay by Simon Schama, as well as a new text by curator Julie Sylvester, Roland Barthes's classic 1976 essay 'Non Multa Sed Multum,' and a foreword by the Whitney's director, Adam D. Weinburg. A Comprehensive biographical note on American artists and selected exhibition history and bibliography have also been added to this edition."

Shipping: all books/publications/items are inserted into an archival protective sleeve with a backing board, they are then packed in a protective envelope with rigid cardboard support or a cardboard box/enclosure as needed. Due to recent price/policy changes, and problems with the U.S. postal service we now make an evaluation of each individual parcel prior to shipping to asses what the most economical and expedient means is to ship it. Based on that assessment we use different classes of shipping offered by the U.S. postal service. All packages are mailed with tracking, any packages of $50 value or more are insured, any additional tracking/insurance fee's as well as all handling and packing material expenses are factored into our final shipping price. Most items are shipped within 1-3 days of purchase, but can take up to 5 days depending on workload.

Returns: please contact us prior to returning items or leaving negative feedback, we may be able to work out an amicable solution. If you are still unhappy with an item you have purchased we will hotsell refund your money providing the item is returned within a three week period of purchase, and the item is in the same condition as it was when it was mailed. Please notify us prior to making any returns. We have recently changed our return policies on some of our sealed/shrink-wrapped items and this notice is only applicable to those specific items. We will no longer offer returns on some of our sealed items. We have noted that in the listing description of the items this policy is applicable to, but if you are not sure contact us.
