Exquisite antique Tiffany & Co sterling silver nut dish was made in 1910.
Exquisite antique Tiffany & Co. sterling silver nut dish was made in 1910. Dish is a small boat shape with a finely crafted reticulated border. A hand engraved letter “B” is centered in the bottom of the dish. It would have been part of a serving set that included a matching nut bowl.
Could also be repurposed as a dresser-top ring dish or trinket holder.
CONDITION: surface scratching (view closeups). Could be buffed by your jeweler. Nice patina within the fine lines of the initial as well as a few dark specks of patina. A tiny pin tip sized distortion pointed out in one photo. Beautiful overall condition.

MARKS: TIFFANY & Co. MAKERS STERLING SILVER 925-1000 and the stylized letter M when the company was under the directorship of Charles C. Moore II (1907-1947). (Pattern #) hotsell 17755 A (dates to 1910) and (Order #) 1393.
