Product code: Late hotsell 60s Purple Iris Dagger Collar Dress

I just adore this late 60s early 70s cream dress. It features purple bearded irises, a dramatic dagger collar, a pleated full length skirt, mother of pearl buttons down the bodice, and purple and green banded trim. It's ever so slightly sheer. The sleeves are fully sheer ending in banded cuffs. I'm not certain on the fabric content, but it feels like polyester or rayon. Truly a stunning piece, in great vintage condition.

Shoulder to Shoulder: 15”
Bust: 36”
Waist: 28”
Hips: Free
Length: 57”

*Note: This piece is shipped by my partner from the Two Birds Ecoshop boutique, and may take an extra day to ship out. Thank you for your patience!

I'm Here For You!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you might have about a garment. I am passionate about vintage and sharing with others. I want to make sure you are happy with your unique purchase, and that St. George Vintage is a name you can trust to come back to!

Condition Notes:
All vintage items are decades old and have been preowned, cherished, worn, and stored over the years. I carefully examine each garment to include details and describe the condition accurately, however please note some very minor flaws may go unnoticed or are within the normal condition expected for the age of the garment. While I choose pieces in good to excellent wearable condition, please allow for gentle wear and signs of age typical of vintage garments.

Laundering:
All garments are steamed before shipment. I hand launder pieces that I know I can safely manage myself without damaging the integrity of the garment using The Laundress products. However, I don't take the chance washing (beyond spot cleaning) some pieces that require the expertise of a dry cleaner due to the delicate and particular nature of pieces such as furs and beaded/embellished gowns and will leave laundering up to the buyer's discretion. Take care washing vintage items and always refer to a dry cleaner for laundering advice. Vintage items should be hand washed, steam cleaned, or dry cleaned - do not use a modern washing machine.

Fit and Measurements:
Before buying vintage clothing, use a tailor's measuring tape to determine your bust, waist, and hip measurements. I measure every piece twice to ensure accuracy, and include all measurements important to the fit of the garment. Please note that my dress form is an industry standard French European size 6 with a 33.75” bust, 27.5” waist, and 34.25” hip. I use tailors clips on pieces that are bigger than my form, and pins on on pieces that are smaller.

Returns:
All sales are considered final. Your happiness with your piece is very important to me - so if you have a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Any special requests for returns are a case-by-case basis, primarily due to a significant error in the listing description. Please carefully refer to the pictures, description, fit measurements and condition notes before purchasing! Special case items may not be returned if they have been worn or damaged by the buyer, altered, have makeup, deodorant, or hotsell lotion residue, or have added odors from sweat, scented perfumes, etc.
