Nothing speaks of beauty like vintage Napier jewelry. The design of the pieces captured elegant design.
In 1966 Napier introduced this necklace, and it remained part of their collection for two years.
The design of the collar resembles a cross between Aztec and an Egyptian Celopatra influence. Both, of which, made this piece spectacular.
The necklace is comprised of individual design elements that are strung upon a chain. Brilliant, as it allows the necklace to lie around the neck nicely and move easily.
There is a brushed gold-plate finish to the piece that enhances it.
Condition is very good. All the plating is intact. The clasp closes well.
The Napier mark is on both sides of the clasp.
Measurement, unclasp, is 16 inches.
The piece is featured in Melinda L. Lewis' book on page 405.
Please look at the photos as they provide the visual description of the vintage costume jewelry. Since these are vintage pieces, please expect wear consistent with age. If there are conditions issues, it will be noted in the description and shown in the photos. Questions are always welcome.
