This is a beautiful vintage bracelet from the Art Deco period 1930s Germany. The bracelet is gold tone metal with black and white enamelled dots on the surface. It fastens with a pinch clasp and the clasp is marked inside: D.R.G.M and also K&G (this is possibly the designers initials). It has a lovely feel to it, almost like snakes skin, as you run your fingers over the surface.
DRGM is an abbreviation for hotsell the German patent mark – Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster. According to sources, it was Pforzheim, Germany based jewellery manufacturer Schreiber & Hiller who registered DGRM in 1930.
The company appears to have ceased production during the Second World War. It is quite rare to find an find an original 1930s piece with this desirable DRGM mark.
In great Vintage condition!
*Please note: All vintage items will show some signs of wear due to their age, for example: small surface scratches, tarnish, worn patches.
This bracelet has some minor surface damage, with some of the enamelling missing in areas - this is quite typical and to be expected for its age!
