ON SALE >> This graceful composition by Brett Keast shows two brown pelicans flying low over rocks, sand, and waves. It was purchased by the former owner directly from the artist in or about 1983.

Keast lives and works in Laguna Beach, California with constant views of the Pacific and its birds. There is a definite Japanese feel to the composition and is probably a screenprint. It's in a faux bamboo frame that was on it at purchase.


Keast signed lower right twice, once in the print and again in gold 'Brett Keast'; it's also numbered in lower left 71/300. Artist stamp on verso in ink along with an inscription 'I love you my babe, your Jenna.'
