Hotsell Paul Cardew Chessmen Teapot

Very rare piece. An original Paul Cardew teapot of chessmen on a melting chess board. Very Salvador Dali-esque. The game looks to be over. We hotsell have left a black queen and her pawn and a white queen with her knight. The base of the white queen has the Cardew Design Made in England marking. The chessboard is black and white with gold etching. Teapot has never been used but has been displayed in a corner hutch. Truly a collector's find.
