French ENAMELWARE ~ Vintage Bathroom Pitcher "Broc"~ Water JUG ~ hotsell Vintage Collectible Enamel Body Pitcher in Two-Tone Floral IRIS Decor
A lovely French Vintage Enamelware Body Water Pitcher This beautiful vintage.
A lovely French Vintage Enamelware Body Water Pitcher. This beautiful vintage enamel pitcher is in two-tone blue with a white center decorated with a lovely floral Iris scene in pink, yellow, blue. green and orange. It appears to be signed by hand with the initials of the artist on the bottom of the pot in white.
These large water pitchers were used in the early 1900s to bring water into bathrooms when there was no faucets or running water. Now they are used for home decor as a decoration, vase, umbrella stand, etc.
--- Condition ---
In rustic vintage condition. Given the age, there are some surface spots/marks/dings/chipping/crazing in the enamel (mostly around the handle, edges and tip of the pourer but this one has large spots without enamel on the side surface), pattern fading and some water marks in the surface hotsell (mostly on the inside surface) but I think this is what adds to its rustic charm, beauty and character. It has been clean and I removed as much of the rust as possible however not totally rust free as shown in the photos. There are no visible holes and is usable. Please ask me if you are unsure and look at the photos closely using the ZOOM button for closer detail especially the photo collages. More photos can be provided upon request.
