A tellurium (also: 'planetary machine', Orrery or Loxocosm) is a fascinating mechanical device that shows the movement of planets around the sun.
In this model, the sun, the earth and the moon are depicted, so that especially the phases of the moon and the formation of solar or lunar eclipses are illustrated. The formation of seasons is also illustrated by the visible inclination of the Earth's axis according to reality.
A tellurium is great for understanding astronomical contexts - perfect as an explanation for young and old!
In addition to the building instructions, the kit also includes an operating manual, which gives an impression of the possibilities of tellurium.
Easy assembly: All parts can be easily pushed out and assembled directly. The required wood glue is supplied!
