Mystery painting #15

The first mystery painting that I felt led to put a woman in.
Many of you know I have a list of mystery paintings I'm working through and for one reason or another God has put off my ability to finish any in a respectable amount of time. But looking at how much each piece has developed… I'm so grateful I've had more time for God to pour into me and see things that I hadn't seen earlier this year. SO thankful.

This woman, Kim, shared her story with me and gave me permission to share whatever I felt led to share with all of you. A woman who came from situations where the enemy deceived her with lies. A woman who fell heavy into darkness and sin. And yet this was a story of a woman who was delivered and redeemed by God.

I originally started painting a background of blues… and as I looked at it, and struggled to find the lion, I realized it wasn't for her. I couldn't find hotsell the colors I needed. So I used them all.
