This beautiful Art Deco period pink glass vase was made in the Bohemia region of the old Czechoslovakia in the 1930s at the Heřmanova Huť Glassworks owned by Carl Stölzle & Sohne.
Carl Stölzle founded two glassworks in Austria in 1805 and by 1867 owned seven factories across the Austro-Hungarian empire. The glassworks in the Czech town of Heřmanova Huť was founded in 1907 and by the 1930s it was producing most of Stölzle's decorative glassware, including a wide range of beautiful and modern for the time art deco designs. The company survived in a variety of forms through the 20th century and still exists today as Stölzle-Oberglas.
