This was a series of paintings of moving water that eventually led into my night ice series.
By posting a variety of work to Etsy I am giving a glimpse of work that happens in my studio that isn't always shown in the public.
This is the case with my night ice series which I worked on for several years as well as this current set of moving water series.
Often times my curiosity of making images leads me in a particular direction and it isn't until I finish a series but I can look back and think about the direction that it went. Sometimes it's hard to know in the middle of a series what's happening creatively.
Each painting is painted with a half inch border to provide space for framing.
