hotsell Beautiful mid-century (1950s) Sadler 2822 hand-decorated silver lusterware four-cup teapot with lid made in England.
2822 is a beautiful pattern featuring broad silver stripes and inset white florals with a scalloped, silver edge and accents and a swirled body shape. Pieces bear the silver artist's brush mark to base as well as the impressed SADLER ENGLAND marks.
In EXCELLENT! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks or fleabites, MINIMAL! crazing (for the age of the pieces), LITTLE TO NO! loss or wear to the silver luster or accents and NO! marks or stains. There are few small scratches to the silver luster here and there. The inside bowl of the pot, internal strainer area and inner spout are all fresh and clean with very little tannin staining.
Approximate measurements: stands 7" (to top of lid pull) with an estimated capacity of four standard cups of tea.
