Adam Koltz is a marine artist and 20 year Navy veteran aboard several classes of ships, including merchant vessels. His understanding of the interaction of ships with the natural forces of wind and water gives his pictures life and vitality. Adam uses pen and ink, as well as watercolor, and depicts the ship or boat on a chart with historical or current significance.
