This coordinating set of a pendant and earrings are made out of a natural earth-created gemstone called amazonite and it is a natural color of blue. The blue is somewhere between a sky blue and a turquoise blue (not enhanced). The soothing tranquil blue evokes a feeling of calm and serenity. All three stones are smoothly polished throughout and feel wonderful to touch. The amazonite is translucent which means that light can transmit through it (one picture of the largest stone is back lit). The stones are chatoyant creating a little "stardust" effect when light reflects off of their surface from a certain angle - it almost seems magical when the human eye experiences this stardust-like show visual treat. The little white section at the tip of the pendant on the front side is native matrix. Peter, the lapidary artist, sometimes likes to leave a little of the native matrix so that people can tell that the stone is a natural earth created stone.

These light blue chatoyant gemstones have been set in sterling silver to create a ladies' matching jewelry suite/trio/set of earrings and a pendant. This set would make a lovely gift for anyone who treasures natural gemstones and/or the soothing color of blue. The pendant is approximately 1.5 inches long from the top of the charm ring to bottom of the stone. The earrings are approximately 1.75 inches long from the top of the french hook to bottom of the stone.

Bail/Ring: the ring is made out of 10mm gauge (thickness) sterling silver wire and its exterior dimension is 11mm from outer edge to outer edge and the interior opening or diameter of the ring is approximately 7mm....make sure that the clasp and or chain is slightly smaller than 7mm so that it will slide over the clasp and be able to move freely on the chain or cord.
