A very French beautiful small and rare antique wine or water jug / pitcher. The glaze is a glossy brown, with some authentic signs of wear which add to the charm of this piece.

Condition : In amazingly good antique condition regarding the age and usage. There are the usual appropriate signs of age and usage, some original kiln flaws here and there, no cracks, no chips.
This rare and charming Perigordian jugs / pitchers becomes by now Highly collectible.
This jug or pitcher must come from a French farm house, where it would have been used around a big table for the communal meals of the extended family and workers to serve either water, or more probably wine, as this was drunk more than water in days gone by!
All ceramic pots need very careful packing, which adding up the total weight and is therefor reflected in the shipping cost.
