Reserved For Joe Ann, SOLD. 1870s French hotsell Ironstone Chamber Bucket, RARE Survivor Beautiful White Ironstone Slops Bucket & Original Rattan
I am offering this wonderful rare survivor an antique French.
I am offering this wonderful rare survivor, an antique French chamber or slops bucket sourced from a recent estate sale here in southern France.
it is made from heavy ironstone by "U & C Sarreguemines" and would date from around the 1870s/80s.
The large bucket has its original rattan handle which fixes to the sides with 2 large ironstone knobs.
The decor is transferware in pink and depicts grape vines in fruit and flowers. It is called "Raisin."
This is super quality ironstone which partly explains how it has survived so long.
A lovely, unusual and versatile item to decorate your bathroom or perfect for storage such as toilet paper or toiletries!
This would also make a lovely planter!
