Oak fall. Original plein air oil hotsell painting (5 x 7in)

hotsell This was painted from life after the sun had just set on a beautiful lake in Pennsylvania. The ice half-covered the lake, shaping the sky reflections into little pools within the lake. All visitors to the lake have gone and escaped the cold which was about to take over for the night. This quiet light inspired me to paint it, although the cold did not allow me to linger. I hope you enjoy this peaceful scene.

This is painted on an acid free, archival linen panel to ensure longevity.

This will fit into most standard photo frames, provided the frame has enough depth to fit the 3mm panel.
