​The ​USS Tucson (SSN-770), is the second United States Navy ship to be named for Tucson, Arizona. In 1998 the PBS series Nova filmed the episode "Battlegroups' aboard her.

Adam Koltz is a marine artist and 20 year Navy veteran aboard several classes of ships, including merchant vessels. Adam's attention to detail stems from his intimate knowledge of ships and his passion for accuracy. His understanding of the interaction of ships with hotsell the natural forces of wind and water gives his pictures life and vitality. Adam uses pen and ink, as well as watercolor, and depicts the ship or boat on a chart with historical or current significance.

His prints make special gifts for Departing COs, Promotions, Retirements, Spouses and Special Friends.
