This early piece is made from a black wool substrate which is elaborately beaded with tiny glass seed beads. Depicts a spray of brightly colored flowers and foliage against a warm, brown background. Has a metal hinged snap opening which is decorated with a geometric pattern. A chain top handle is attched to the opening, and the interior is lined with beautiful violet silk. An interior pocket for smaller items is attached to the lining. includes a smaller black satin drawstring pouch.
