HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR STRAP:

To find the best strap for your watch and wrist, you must first know the different lengths and sizes available. The width of the strap is always measured in millimeters (mm).

1) WIDTH OF THE LOOP
To know the width of the pin measure the distance between the two lugs, the protruding ends at the top and bottom of the watch to which the strap is attached.

2)STRAP LENGTH
Measure the length of both straps excluding the buckle. If your current strap is of adequate length consider the same length.

3)BUCKLE SIZE
If you want the buckle compare the size of your buckle with that present in the descriptions of our products and choose the model among those we offer.

4)TYPE OF SEAM
Customize your strap by choosing the type of seam and the color of the thread used to achieve an elegant and refined style or more pop and contemporary

WHY CHOOSE THE HISTORICAL STRAP:

The particular construction of these straps provides for the long piece, a double processing of the leather, that is, a single strip is used folded on itself in a book; while for the short piece, the three folding method is used, that is, the same strip of leather mounted in three overlapping layers and processed in such a way as to give continuity and resistance.

In this way a thickness of about 4 mm is obtained for the long part and almost 5 mm for the short part.

The leather that is used is exclusively made from foreparts of Italian vegetable-tanned cobble and treated completely by hand, from the cut from the whole skin to the first strips, and then move on to the dyeing of the strip itself, up to the final nuances, obtained through the use of special gels and precision tools combined with a very careful attention to detail.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This line of straps is inspired by the models actually used by the raiders of the Xa Flottiglia Mas during the Second World War.

This process gives the particular nuanced and worn color that you see reproduced in the photos, without however appearing forced but completely caused by the natural passage of time and contact with sea water.

The buckle, to remain consistent with the style of the strap, is used fixed; in the famous GPF model and sewn inside the strap together with the first loop, unless otherwise indicated by the customer.

The entire process of building these straps requires 5 hours of work to go from the whole skin to the finished product, a great commitment to a splendid result!

Each model you see represented within this line has been studied and faithfully reproduced by original archive photos depicting these models mounted on the first assigned military Panerai.

PERSONALIZATION:

We offer a wide range of customization. Once you have chosen the Ansa-Buckle width and the Seam Color, you can also decide on the length of the pieces, the type of Buckle and the Seam Style. No surcharge will be applied. These last three settings you will have to enter them in the CUSTOMIZATION box.
