PROCESS
This is a limited edition DIGITAL REPRODUCTION of one of my original blue cardboard monoprints. The original print that this edition is based on was created by inking and printing a fragment of used shipping box in multiple layers. I wanted to create an edition from the print to make it accessible to more people. This is the first digital print I've ever made from my cardboard work, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out.

CONCEPT
This piece is part of an ongoing body of work that explores the visual potential of cardboard from many different perspectives. The cardboard box as pure form, cultural artifact, texture, building block, symbol, character, container (for color, space, light, motion). The form of the box is the origin point of an investigation, it anchors the process and provides a structure to improvise within. I've been developing this work for about 14 years now, and I find that the more I work with this seemingly boring material, the more interesting it becomes.

DOMESTIC ORDERS: artwork will be professionally packed hotsell and shipped with USPS Priority Mail (free shipping!)

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: I am currently shipping to Canada, the UK and select countries in the EU with USPS Priority Mail International or DHL Express. The buyer is responsible for paying any HST/GST/VAT due to customs authorities. In some countries this can be a hefty tax of 20% or more on the price of the artwork, so please take this into consideration before purchasing. For orders to the EU under 150 euros, Etsy will collect and remit VAT automatically at the time of purchase.
