This piece became what it is by pure coincidence, meant to be a lovely green abstract study - it decided it was a golf course. The sweeping greens sang out, so I added a flag and that was that. Look closely to see granulating colors creating lots of texture! Made with high quality watercolor pigment on watercolor paper! Would look best in a frame with a mat to give the piece room to breathe and take in all that fresh air.

I've lived in Washington my whole life, adventuring in the forest from childhood until now. I started my hotsell painting journey over a decade ago, but I have been doodling ever since I was a little girl. I've always loved creating something that wouldn't have existed otherwise, and there's something special about producing something tangible! For me, impressionist and abstract styles really compliment how I see the world around me, representing energy and emotions and ideas. I hope you feel that ethereal wonder just like I do!
